Identify two pieces of evidence from Chapter 1 that suggest that the stranded boys come from an ordered, civilized society. Use these pieces of evidence and explain how they prove this point?

Why is Jack’s decision not to stab the pig significant? Use evidence from the chapter to support your answer.
