Explain what happens at each stage of a bird’s life cycle.

Retell what happens at each stage of a bird’s life cycle. Include two to three details about each stage.
An example response to the Target Task at the level of detail expected of the students.

How do the robins make their nest? Why do the nests need to be “strong, safe, and snug?”
How do the female and male robins work together to protect the eggs?
What does the inside of the egg look like right after it has been laid?
How does the egg change from day three to day twelve?
What happens after the birds have hatched? Tell two to three key details.
What happens when the robins are ready to leave the nest?
